Scott L. Varon is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ PRACTITIONER that specializes in representing healthcare professionals and their practices.
He specializes in tax reduction strategies for individuals with regards to their investment, retirement, and estate planning, while focusing on business continuity and retirement plan design for the business client. He represents physicians in all facets during their various transition stages: from training to practice, practice to practice, and the transition from practice into retirement.
Scott has taught at Emory University, Morehouse University, Mercer University, The Atlanta Medical Center and Columbus Regional where he has lectured on the basics of financial planning, disability income insurance, cash flow analysis, and retirement planning. He stays up to date with the latest needs from Graduate Medical Education to improve upon his "The Business of Medicine Lecture Series". Scott also founded the Georgia Medical and Financial Alliance, a healthcare consortium dedicated to helping the healthcare professional achieve their business goals.
Scott received his Bachelor of Risk Management and Insurance from the University of Georgia, and his CFP® designation from Oglethorpe University. |
