Trent serves as Director of Investments at WealthMD, where he oversees the firm’s investment strategy and supports advisors in delivering comprehensive financial planning and portfolio management solutions. A native of Columbus, Georgia, Trent earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting from Oglethorpe University in Brookhaven.

Trent began his career with MassMutual and The Piedmont Group, where he developed a strong foundation in financial services and client relationships. He went on to expand his expertise in portfolio design, investment research, and risk management at Haven Wealth Advisors. Most recently, he served as a financial planner and advisor to high-net-worth clients at Truist Bank, helping families navigate complex financial decisions and implement customized investment strategies.

At WealthMD, Trent leads the design, implementation, and monitoring of the firm’s investment strategies, ensuring that portfolios accurately reflect individual client goals. He evaluates investment opportunities across multiple platforms, collaborates with custodians and asset managers, and maintains a deep understanding of capital markets and investment trends. In addition to his investment management responsibilities, Trent partners closely with advisors to develop and present comprehensive financial plans, serving as a resource for both clients and colleagues.

Trent lives in Milton with his wife, Laura, and their four children—Avery, Nicole, Austin, and Henry. Outside of work, he enjoys running, weight training, and spending time outdoors with his family.
